First Gozo
IL-MARHAB FARMHOUSE
Il-Marhab in Xewkija is a typical farmhouse from the early 17th century. It is located in walking distance to the picturesque pebble bay Mgarr-Ix-Xini. Through the main entrance with stone arcs and tiled, patterned floor you reach an open, sunny square that is surrounded by plants. This leads to a spacious bedroom with en suite bathroom. There are three more double bedrooms on the first floor, a sunny loggia and a terrace with view on the Rotunda church. 9 persons will find sufficient space in this house.
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops, dining table with 8 chairs, fridge, washing machine, gas-/electro-stove, cable TV, telephone, fireplace and the main bathroom. Outside there is a large terrace with stone tiles and tables where you can enjoy your dinner al fresco. The farmhouse fully deserves its 5 stars.
